What we do with your data.
The short version: we collect what you give us, use it to reply and to run what you signed up for, keep it in Europe on servers we run ourselves, and never sell it. The detail is below.
Last updated 11 October 2026. This notice covers wizewerx.tech, our enquiry and application forms, the Vibe to Production programme and our Done for you work.
Who we are
Wizewerx Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (no. 06003824), 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. We decide what happens to your data, which makes us the controller under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018). For anything in this notice, write to support@wizewerx.com. Mike reads it.
What we collect
- When you apply for Vibe to Production: your name, email, role, LinkedIn profile if you give it, the problem you want to solve, who it's for, the hours you can give it, the group you'd prefer and whether you have a Claude subscription.
- When you ask about Done for you: your name, email, what your app does, how it was built and with what, what you want to do with it, your budget range and a link to it if you give one.
- When you email us or book a call: what you send us, and the time you book.
- When you join a programme: your payment and invoice details, your messages in our Discord, and the recordings of the meetings you take part in.
- When you browse: anonymous page statistics (see Cookies and analytics). Our servers also keep short-lived technical logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.
Please don't send us anything sensitive we haven't asked for, such as health information or someone else's personal data.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To reply, review your application and run the call you asked for. These are steps you asked us to take before a possible contract.
- To deliver the programme or project you bought, including the meetings, recordings, Discord and hosting. This is the contract between us.
- To keep accounting and tax records. The law requires it.
- To keep the site secure, stop spam and understand which pages are useful. This is our legitimate interest, and we keep it to the minimum.
- To publish a case study about you. Only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We don't add you to a mailing list because you filled in a form. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. No decisions about you are made automatically.
Where it lives and who else sees it
Our website, forms database and email run on servers we operate ourselves, rented from hosting companies in the European Union. We send email from our own mail server. A few outside services handle data for us. Each sees only what it needs:
- Cal.com: if you book a call, it receives your name, email and the time you pick.
- Our payment provider: when you pay, it handles your card or bank details. We never see your full card number.
- Discord: if you join a programme, your Discord account and messages are held by Discord under its own terms.
- Bunny Fonts: your browser downloads our fonts from it, so it receives your IP address.
- Unsplash: some blog photos load from it, so it receives your IP address.
Some of these services are based in the United States. Where your data goes outside the UK, they rely on recognised safeguards, such as the UK-US data bridge or standard contractual clauses, as described in their own privacy notices. We'll also share data if the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there's no cookie banner. We count visits with Umami, which we host ourselves. It doesn't set cookies or build a profile of you, and it only reports totals such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types. If you use the dark mode switch, your browser remembers the choice in its own local storage. It never reaches us.
How long we keep it
- Applications and enquiries that don't go ahead: deleted 12 months after our last contact.
- Customer and payment records: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, because UK tax law requires it.
- Meeting recordings: kept while your cohort and the builders community run, and deleted within 12 months after you leave. We'll delete a recording you appear in sooner if you ask.
- Server logs: kept for a short period, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, to object to how we use it, or to move it to someone else. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it. Email support@wizewerx.com. We'll reply within a month and it costs nothing.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Security
We keep access to the systems that hold your data to the people who need it, use encrypted connections, and keep the software up to date. No system is perfect. If something goes wrong that puts your data at risk, we'll tell you and the ICO as the law requires.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you've already given us, we'll email you.
